Tips on How to Store Your Kitchen Appliances

With the price of small kitchen appliances being so affordable these days (especially at websites like ChumbaDeals.com), our kitchens surfaces can end up becoming too overcrowded with all the latest kitchen gadgets and gizmos, so here are some tips on storage and where to put them in your kitchen.
First of all, you have to get a little ruthless, as I recommend chucking out any kitchen appliances that aren’t working properly. For kitchen appliances that do work, and you haven’t used in the past year take them to a charity shop.
If you have space, I would store the remaining kitchen appliances in lower cabinets, and for things like plates and foods, that you use on a regular basis, put them in the higher cabinets which are easier to access.
You will need to organize this cupboard space and decide which appliances you use more than others. For example if you only use your crepe making machine once a year on pancake day, then store it near the back. Or maybe you only use your smoothie maker in the summer months, so it can be stored at the back for the rest of the year.
On the other hand for items that you use on regular basis keep then near the front, for example it might be that you cook a slow cooked meal once a week, so it would be wise to keep this appliance near the front. It all depends on your own specific kitchen habits how you store these items.
A space that is often under utilized, and a perfect place to store your kitchen appliances is on the space between the top of upper cupboards and the ceiling.
If it ever ends up being that case that you don’t have enough room in your kitchen for your growing exodus of kitchen appliances, you could look at storing the less used items in the pantry, basement, laundry room or garage.
