How to WOW Your Dinner Guests

Maybe you are new in the area and want to throw a dinner party to introduce yourself, or you just want to invite a few friends over and impress them with your culinary skills, and have a catch up.

In order to get the ‘WOW’ factor you must find out what your guests eat, don’t eat, like and dislike, so you can create a dish, which goes down a treat with everyone at the table. Perhaps to make this easier, you can come up with a few suggested meals before hand, to see what the general consensus is.

Secondly you will need to look into, whether you have all the kitchen appliances and cookware you need to create your ‘piéce de résistance’. This is especially the case; if you don’t have enough pots and pans to cater for the additional numbers, or perhaps you want to make your own pasta, as an extra special culinary experience for your guests, and would require a pasta making machine like the Villaware Al Dente 5 Piece Pasta Set.

It is actually good to a have meal theme, like Italian, in the case of pasta. I know of very few people who would complain about a well made Italian pasta meal, especially with the added bonus of home made pasta – it’s making my mouth water just thinking about it! You could also use the recommended pasta machine to make angel hair noodles, and create Chinese theme, if your guests would prefer this.

A successful dinner party is really about communication and making sure you know what food your guest like and dislike. It is of course necessary to find this out before you cook the meal, and a great opportunity to find out more about your guests if you don’t know them that well, or to impress your friends with the best dish they have ever tasted!
