What to Have for Breakfast

July 1st, 2008 by Administrator

Firstly, you probably own a toaster and have toast for breakfast many a time, but have you ever though about the other things you can toast? Things like muffins, bagels, scotch pancakes, pitta breads and Pop Tarts – just to name a few.

Another firm favorite, for people with a sweet tooth, are waffles – you can either buy them in yourself, or make them with your own waffle maker. There is nothing better that getting up in the morning, helping yourself to a plate of waffles covered in maple syrup, or Belguim chocolate.

Eggs are another favorite to have for breakfast, whether it be scrambled, poached or an omelet. Make sure you have a nice warm skillet to cook the eggs with and make yourself a nice hearty breakfast.

Lastly let’s look at some healthy breakfast ideas, you may need some plastic containers (or cookware with lids that seal well) to put your muesli (or other cereal) and fruit in, especially if you eat breakfast on the go, or take it to work to eat. Many people when they get up think that it seems to be far too early to think about breakfast and you don’t want it to spill everywhere on route.

Then of course, you can always be ultra healthy and start the day with a fruit smoothie or milkshake and start getting a head start on the five portions of fruit and vegetables a day. You’ll need a good blender or smoothie maker. Also a fresh fruit salad can accompany many cereals, bagels and pancakes, or other combinations to make a healthier breakfast.

You have lots of choices of what to have breakfast everyday, so why not eat something different every morning and enjoy the variety. You never know, you might discover something that you like even more than you are eating now,

Maybe you are new in the area and want to throw a dinner party to introduce yourself, or you just want to invite a few friends over and impress them with your culinary skills, and have a catch up.

In order to get the ‘WOW’ factor you must find out what your guests eat, don’t eat, like and dislike, so you can create a dish, which goes down a treat with everyone at the table. What Kitchen Appliances Single People Want

March 9th, 2008 by Administrator

After asking quite a few single friends recently, about their kitchen appliances, I got round to asking them, what is the one piece of cookware or kitchen appliances they could not do without or would like to have?

The answers I got surprised me in such a way, that I even took a look at the one kitchen appliance in my own household that they were referring to. I found that the equipment I had was not just sufficient in its use, but ideal for what they were asking for, in every way.
