If you are anything like me, or maybe I’m just an oddity, but I can’t ever seem to get rice just right. It ends up a stodgy mess and half of it gets stuck on the bottom of the pan - a nightmare to wash up. I had literally tried every tip under the sun, but perfect rice still eluded me.
I have tried both microwave rice and boil in the bag rice, which is perfect every time, but is a rather expensive way of going about what should be a simple cooking task. Don’t even get me started on fried eggs! And I am a good cook!

For far too long now, fast food has been the lifeblood of busy families. It’s time to look at the alternatives.
Using a slow cooker or crockpot could be the answer for busy families and the necessity for healthy food. Meals that you can leave cooking while you are out and about, or at work.
Despite popular beliefs, it’s not just soups and stews you can slow cook, but lots of over things like pot roast, chicken noodles, vegetarian and even desserts.

When it comes to the professional chef and their kitchen appliances, most people think they must use all the top range kitchen ware and have the best of everything. Well this maybe true, once they have made it as top chefs, but when they where starting out, what do you think they used then?
How did they find different pieces of equipment to work with and what do they use now?
I bet most of them wished they could have gone to a site like Chumba Deals and found their kitchen appliances on there. What people do not realize is that the best of equipment for any chef, is the stuff that gets the job done to the best standard and without fuss. It does not have to look pretty and go with the rest of the decor.
